The way I heard it was he was not giving full audio power feeds to the warm up acts . Sting in particular complained and Lesh himself was freaked. In the old days the opening bands never had all the benifits of the top
billers PA wise. By itself you would think this would not be enough to can a vetted crew member so maybe there's more to the story.
